Chill out, dude!
Last weekend I embarked upon an interesting adventure, so I thought I should relay what happened.
Friday night the College group all met up at the park in San Onofre after various departure times. We ate, we took photos, we caught up and caused a little mischeif, then we went back to our hotel for our worship and devotions. Some of us stayed up late playing a game called "Whoonu?" where we discovered Autumn would rather eat a pickle than spend time in a hot tub. Figure that one out.
Saturday dawned and it was a group of 27 storming the Sugar Shack. That was some good french toast right there. We headed to the rainbow sandals factory outlet and then it was onto the beach! Unfortunately that meant waiting in line to get into the carpark for the beach. That's right, when the carpark fills up, we all line up and wait for enough people to leave the beach so we can go down. The line can be an awful lot of fun though. We put on quite a show, dancing to "Thriller" and doing the electric slide to "Sweet Home Alabama".
The afternoon at the beach was good fun, and I have discovered I can't play horseshoes (then again, these horseshoes were made of plastic and the wind was against me). That night we went back to the park and I discovered I'm starting to get a bit too big for playgrounds. It was kind of on the way out before I broke it *ahem* moving right along...
I played some American football. Every code of Aussie football is better than this American type thing. Still, it was good fun, but it wasn't tackle (they're a bit soft out here).
Once we were done eating we went back to the hotel for more worship and devotions. Following some excellent teaching was a lively game of catch phrase, courtesy of Kristen, our resident board game champion.
Sunday morning we went to Love Burger and watched Zac and Eric eat more food than you could ever imagine. We went to the rip curl outlet and then we went to the park again, for our last devotions and worship. After lunch it was time to head home.
And that was my weekend in San Onofre.

Hotel? Stayed in an hotel? Aren't there any camps?
Lining up for the beach!!!????!!!!
A little mischIEf (remember i before e, except after c?). Hmmm.
Where is San Onofre?
Wedding party went well, if a little chilly at times.
When I say hotel I mean Formula 1 equivalent.
San O is about an hour and a half south of here.
Mischief has a c in it, therefore disproving that rule that is never followed.
Nicola said she'd send pics. Still waiting.
