Some days you're the windscreen, some days you're the bug

Well today was one of the latter for me. Not an thrilling day at work or home by any stretch of the imagination. I think tonight I'll listen to some ApologetiX, read a funny book and make my friend's birthday present.

Today's question is, what do you do to cheer yourself up after a bad day?

Why cartoon characters have it made and other such things

Why Cartoon characters have it made:

1) You get to be 2-D
2) You never have to worry about what to wear, cos you always wear the same thing and it's always clean
3) You can live from a day to a week in just half an hour, so school and work shifts go faster.
4) Your awkward moments are designed to make people laugh
5) You rarely need to go to the toilet or eat
6) Everyone in your life follows a script
7) You never get any older

Why male customers are better at a coffee shop
1) They know what they want
2) They don't want anything fancy
3) They know how much change they have and don't go digging around in a microvawe sized handbag to find 30 cents
4) They drink the whole coffee
5) They don't leave lipstick marks on the cup.

Back to School Madness

For the first time in my life I am not part of the back to school madness. No buying new school shoes, getting contact for school books or getting my hair cut. It's a pleasant and strange feeling all at once.

So today's questions is, which word is worse: Fringe or Content? A good test to see which word you hate more is to use each word 15 - 125 times in a paragraph. The one you would like to see thrown into a gas oven after being pounded by herd of derange rhinos more is the one that is worse.

Let me know!!

You know what my Grandfather says? GET BACK TO WORK!!

Well holidays were just smashing, here's the quick run down:

I have just come back from holidays and all I can say is quando, quando, quando; there's sand in here; you lose boy!; you'll get your kamuppents (this is the correct spelling); I hear no snapple and let's all be pirish!!

Thankfully I needed no indipod on the way home (www.indipod.com HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, watch the movie!!!)

Alright for those out of the loop, our car broke down Christmas Day, we spent Christmas Day in Grafton (stop laughing). Finally made it to Sydney at around 5 in the morning on Boxing Day. Headed to Bawley at 7 (it was rough having that little sleep).

Made it, set up, had a great couple of weeks.

New Years Eve had good fireworks, a few good laughs and plenty of good food (one big family barbeque).

Props to Josh for the world's best stack!!! He jumped five people and exited his bike with as little grace and poise as he could muster. He's got some good scabs. Let's hear it for scabs!!!! And zippy ties (you can fix anything with zippy ties)

We spent an extra night in Sydney on the way back due to transport arrangements so I got to see all my Sydney peoples again. Michael, Ryan and Ben stole half of my curly fries. Then I lost when we went racing at timezone (hey someone has to suck!!) All in all it was good to see everyone again and I'm sure I'll catch up with you all (including Refalo) when I come down later this year.

So thanks to all who made it a wonderful holiday.

Since I made it back on Wednesday night I have worked 20 hours (whew!). So as you can see the Cool Runnings quote with which I titled this entry seems rather fitting, don't you think? Cool Runnings quotes were very significant this holiday, so I thought it might be a nice idea to include them here.

Till next time faithful readers! Rep for your hairbrush, combs aren't cool.
