SuperTiph and an Umbrella

I need to speak to Mr Boat. Mr Oat Boat.

This one won't be long guys, but it will be the last before I leave on my whirlwind adventure into the unknown.

I've started packing for the US, but not for the holiday that preceeds it, and might I say it is quite a chore. It's difficult to do because I can't pack everything at once, and I need certain things to be towards the top and it is turning out to be a bit of a chore.

I also have to confess that, unlike every other year, I haven't done the bulk of my Christmas shopping yet. Usually I have it all done by the end of the first week of December. Not so this year. It's on the agenda for this week.

Anyways, it's only 7 days until I leave Brisbane and 28 until I leave the country, so it's all getting quite a bit closer quite quickly. You all know my plans for what is considered the 'holiday period', tell me what your plans are.

All donations are tax duck - billed. Happy Birthday.

Should I start this post off with a question?

Okay, I admit, I've been listening to Rellie K again. In the first verse of "My Way or the Highway to Hell" they say, "Cos I'm not looking forward to leaving my friends all behind."

Out of context it suits my situation perfectly. I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye to all my buddies and heading off on my own adventure without their fabulous company. Sure I'll meet new friends and I'm very excited about that, but no doubt I'll be wandering around some city in the States saying, "I wish (insert name of person I wish was with me) was here. They'd love (insert attraction/edible object/strange noise aforementioned person would love) so much."

Alas I am heading intot he depths of the currently wintery nation alone. And it's not long now. 8 working days until I'm on holiday. 12 days until I leave Brisbane. I'll miss you guys. But don't worry, I'll be back.

Now that I have your attention, Christmas is coming...

First of all I just have to say: CAMP RULES!! If you missed one80 camp and you aren't in year 12 or above, you'd better go next year. There is no excuse to miss this weekend of friends, fun, insults about your weight, injury, emos and madness. I had a great time, although I could use a rest. Stupid engaged phone at work won't let me call in sick.

Just for the amusement of those on camp:

"Well, last year I had to share a tent with Tiph and she decided that at 4 o'clock in the morning it would be a good idea to blow up her air bed..."
"Wake up Snot Face, look what I've done!"
"It's Kylie's Mum, head of the emos!"
"Ben, did you just say, 'Can I get pregnant?'"
"If I got anything, I'd get a tail."
*forehead slap*
"Yes you can go to the shop, I'm sure it's a rip off."
"I did say, 'no guarding chairs' and then I thought I said, 'no garden chairs'."
"Are you storing up for winter in there?"
"It's 7:30 in the morning and you haven't offered me any lollies yet."

and......squares

To the real issue at hand. Christmas is coming, and sooner than you might imagine. It's only 21 sleeps away. That's 3 weeks. That's how much longer I have in Brisbane. It's only 42 days until I'm making snow angels in Central Park. That's scary. The fun factor is decreasing, mainly because I feel so disorganised. Yet I still find time to write my blog. Oh well. It will be alright on the night.

Write about camp. And if you didn't go on camp, write about your weekend. And if you didn't have a weekend write about the pov range of lego Toys R Dumb have on offer.
